It is my second year here to teach Chinese in the middle school. I found that there more and more students have tried Chinese food in Sauk Rapids than last year. Even some of them can use chopsticks to pick up food and noodles. In the past week, I used two class hour to introduce some common food ,dessert and snacks in China. I showed a video about how people make noodles and dumplings at home, in fact, most of season food or festival food are homemade. My students were so surprised that people can make noodles as thin as hair.Another interesting thing for them is sugar painting，which is street food and people can eat it. Some girls even want to make it by themselves at home. What’s more, kids really enjoyed playing chopsticks game even though they could’t use it very well.
